Halloween....

Pasha’s Tail (Saturday 29th October 2016)

Tanni & I have been told this is Halloween weekend and we have been practicing hard flying round in the house as if all the beasts from hell were behind us. Well that’s what She tells us. To be honest we are just letting off steam before the cold weather sets in. Like all creatures we can tell it is on it’s way but we just can’t pin point exactly when.

While the Sun is out and it’s bright and light we are running around outside and inside the house just because we can. Eventually we settled down in the Orangery to snooze. All this running around can be tiring.

Tanni’s Tail (Saturday 29th October 2016)

The leaves on the trees and shrubs in the garden have turned into a bright range of yellows and reds and oranges. Cats take notice of this sort of thing. Already the leaves from the cherry tree are fluttering down and blowing across the garden. We find this good fun playing in the piles of leaves but we notice She keeps raking them up. We find this very puzzling.

We have hidden most of our spiders and bugs away and are waiting for them to come out so we can pounce on them! We feel sure they will come out again some time soon.

We have been told we will get an extra hour in bed tomorrow morning. We know She always has an extra hour in bed after we wake up. We try to play quietly so we don’t disturb Her. But sometimes Pasha & I get carried away and our games get boisterous.

But first there are strange things to look out for at the time of Halloween. Or so we have been told. But humans forget we Cats can see and tune into mysterious goings on most of the time.

Being Cats we see spooks and things behind the veil between Heaven and Earth. We are surprised that humans can’t see these things too……
